Mad for it: Le Labo fragrances for Spring

Transitioning into my spring scents and clothing is no easy task. I swear I was in the military in a past life. Boxes out, list made, unpack, pack and clean. For me the 1st sign of spring is the air changes, fragrant blooms and fresh cut grass waft past my nose. It was a no brainier for my spring scent change it was going to be Le Labo! I purchased this in NY last year especially for  the spring change. 

Today Show: Eco Nail Polish

My passion is all things fashion and now living a less toxic lifestyle. Daily we are bombarded by cell phones, laptops, cars and self inflicted toxic behaviors.

 After hearing my husband’s long conversation about his hate of nail polish and how he wouldn't let our child wear the toxic goop, I decided to find the holly grail of polish. Good news, it’s Scotch. Not the drink I love, but a totally vegan, biodegradable nail polish! The color selection is fantastic, see for yourself.

Bonus: They have a Kids Polish line. My sweet baby girl loves polish like her mommy, the down side, at 6 she can’t keep her fingers out of the mouth. Well if she eats this off- not so scary. Hopscotch Kids is vegan, gluten free and biodegradable.   

Now the girls of the house can have their fashion and eat it too! Eco Chic rules.

Spring Hair Style Change

Spring is upon us and we all start the self mantra “I need a change”.  For some this will mean a complete overhaul and for the more reserve this could be a simple youthful fringe change (BANGS).

Spring 2013 brought out the 60’s 70’s inspired trends in the fashion world. The 1960's brought us Penelope Tree, a style icon and a women not afraid of a little face accent.

Nicholas K Fashion Week New York

The Start of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is always a trill, but for me, this time I’m overjoyed. You see my mother Karen Angel is back stage working the hair on about 10 shows. She kicked off with Nicholas K. Mom did the Spring RTW 2013 in September on Nicholas K, Chris Benz and a few others. She is working for Nick Irwin representing Tigi Hair care.
